Our bodies require a fast from eating at night so that they may heal and rejuvenate while we sleep. Inconsistent late-night eating has been linked to bloating, gas, and weight gain.

Finally, eating late at night might have an effect on one’s mental health. People who eat late at night are more likely to suffer from sadness and anxiety, according to research. The guilt and humiliation associated with making poor eating choices, as well as the detrimental consequences on sleep quality, may be to blame.
